SENIOR FIXTURES ANNOUNCED

FOR FULL LIST SEE FIXTURES AND RESULTS

The 2012 fixtures have been released and can be seen on the fixtures section.

The 1st team start the new campaign on the road at Grappenhall who were relegated from the Premier Division in 2011. They then have a home game against Heaton Mersey followed by an away trip at Bollington.

The 2nd XI start there campaign with a home tie against Poynton followed by an away game at Heaton Mersey and a home tie against rivals Bollington.

The 3rd team will start with the T20 competition as per usual but we await the draw to be made there campaign starts on the 6th May with an away game at Bowdon followed by a home tie against Alderley Edge.

The 4th team start with games against our local rivals they entertain the newly formed Romiley 4ths and followed by an away game at Woodley.

SENIOR PLAYERS SUBSCRIPTIONS

DON'T FORGET if you would like to take advantage of the standing order option for Senior Playing Members to pay their Annual Membership fees in four instalments of £20 in February, March, April and May, you will need to fill in the standing order mandate attached to AGM report and return to your bank asap. Further copies can be e-mailed from me if required.

PRESENTATION NIGHT

The presentation night was held at the club on 19th Nov. The players receiving the various awards were:

Kath Nield Memorial Trophies for the 1st and 2nd teams' performance of the season -

Everyone enjoyed the evening with a variety of tasty and spicy curries made by the social committee following the awards.

WINTER NETS BOOKED AT WERNETH SCHOOL ON SUNDAY EVENINGS FROM 29 JANUARY TO 1 APRIL 2012 - FOUR HOURS 4PM TO 8PM

Venue: Werneth School Sports Hall Harrytown Romiley
Dates: Sundays 29 January to 1 April inclusive (10 weeks)
Seniors (inc U16 – year 11 and older) 7pm to 8pm
U13 (years 7+8) & U15 (years 9 + 10) 6pm to 7pm
Ladies & U11 (years 5 to 6) 5pm to 6pm
Girls (all ages up to year 8)/U9 (up to year 4) 4pm to 5pm
(Casuals are welcome to join in with Seniors from 4 March)
Costs
Juniors etc in first 3 hours (4pm to 7pm) AND U18 including FTE students £3 per session OR £20 for the lot
Seniors £4 a session OR £30 (Casuals £15) for the lot

Congratulations Champs. Sorry I couldn't be there to celebrate with you on Saturday night, but many thanks for providing us with such a great day at Mobberley and for a magnificent season of cricket. Great work as skipper Legs, we're all so proud of you and the boys for this superb achievement.
