Bredbury entertained Sale at the BCG. Sale batted first and set 273-3.

The saints finished round 100 runs short with two wickets in hand with D.Carr 49 and C.Wood 39

SECONDS LOSE OUT IN TOP OF THE TABLE CLASH

The seconds suffered another setback in an early season top of the table clash with Sale. The hosts batted first and raced to 129 for 2 but some tight and accurate bowling by Foley and Ghosh saw Sale slump to 195 all out.

Chris Foley 4 for 49 and Macca Ghosh 4 for 75 bowled 35 overs betweeen them and stopped the rot.

In reply the Saints were all out for 163 with ALex Cox 35, Steve Clarke 25, Daren Evans 21 and Andy Keyworth 29.

RICK'S CLIMB FOR CHRISTIES

As most of you know first team wicketkeeper Rick Keyworth (21) is currently undergoing chemotherapy at Christies Hospital.
Rick and his friend Carl will be climbing Ben Nevis on 1st May to raise money.
When Rick climbs Ben Nevis he will still be receiving treatment and really wants to get the top.

All the money raised will go to the Young Oncology Unit at Christie's to help their work with young people with cancer.
